Support Connection – Customized Care Services for Breast Cancer Survivors One-on- one peer counseling, hotline and customized information for breast cancer patients from diagnosis through treatment, recovery and beyond.

“Strength to Strength”Wellness Program – Sid Jacobson Jewish Community Center This breast cancer wellness and aftercare program for women who are completing treatment is designed to restore strength, flexibility and a positive body image in the wake of their treatment.

Employee Breast Health Program – The Breast Center at New York Hospital Queens Promotes breast cancer awareness and helps identify undetected breast cancers among women in the workforce.

Breast Cancer Support and Networking Groups conducted by Gilda’s Club Westchester offer support to women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and provide lectures, workshops and social events in a non-residential home-like setting.

Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center“Breast Cancer Genetic Risk Communication”. This project is designed to gather data specific to genetic risk with breast cancer patients and their daughters and create a training curriculum to establish clinical strategies for communicating this risk to women.

Cancer Care, Inc. – “Breast Cancer Support and Education Project”. Free, professional support services including education, information, referrals to additional sources of support, counseling and financial assistance is provided to women diagnosed with breast cancer on Long Island.
